Tour Plan
Day 1 Arrival at Amritsar
After arriving at Amritsar check in to the hotel. Amritsar is known for religious and historical significance, especially for Sikhs. Visit Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and partition Museum. later in the afternoon visit Wagah Border and enjoy the Flag-lowering ceremony. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 Amritsar to Dharamshala
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Dharamshala by car. After reaching Dharamshala check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Dharamshala - McLeod Ganj Sightseeing
After breakfast local sightseeing tour of Dharamshala. Visit Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, St. John in the Wilderness Church, Namgyal Monastery, Aghanjar Mahadev Temple, Bhagsu Falls and Tea Gardens at Dharamshala. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 Dharamshala to Manali
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Manali by car. After reaching Manlali check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 Manali Local Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel get ready for local sightseeing tour of Manali.
Hidimba Devi Temple - Hidimba Devi Temple also known as Dhungari Temple or Hadimba Temple, is located in Manali. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhimba, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest called Dhungiri Van Vihar. The temple has intricately carved wooden doors. It was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh.
Club House - Club House is an amusement zone on the left bank of river Manalsu Nallah. It offers indoor games such as carrom, table tennis, karting, and skating. There is also an in-house restaurant. Adventure seekers can indulge in river crossing by ropeway here.
Vashisht Kund - Vashisht Kund is a natural hot spring located near Manali town. It is a must visit place and is famous for its hot water spring. The Vashisht Temple, dedicated to the great sage Vashisht, is also located in the same area. The temple is about 4000 year old.
Tibetan Monastery - There are three important Tibetan Monasteries in Manali - The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa, Himalayan Nyingamapa Temple, and one at Aleo on the left bank of Beas River. The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa is situated near the mall in Manali. These monasteries are surrounded by small shops selling beautiful handicrafts and carpets made by Tibetan people living nearby.
Manu Temple - Manu Temple is dedicated to sage Manu, located in mesmerizing town of Manali. It lies in the Beas River Valley and is the only temple dedicated to the king Manu. The name Manali was derived from the sage's name who is believed to be the creator of the human race.
Day 6 Manlai - Solang Valley
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Manali.
Solang Valley - Solang Valley located at the top of Kullu valley is 14 km northwest of Manali. It offers panoramic view of surrounding snowcapped mountains, glaciers and beas river. It is famous for its summer and winter sports, such as paragliding, skiing, zorbing, and many more. Solang valley is a place where you can experience the thrill and tranquility of nature.
Gulaba - Gulaba is a small village near Manali. It is a scenic spot on the way to Rohtang pass where you can enjoy the views of snowcapped mountains and beas river. It is best alternative for skiing when the Rohtang pass is closed during wintertime. Gulaba is a winter wonderland that you should not miss.
Rahala Fall - Rahala fall is one of the best waterfalls in the Himachal as it offers a stunning view of the snowcapped mountains and glaciers. The water of the fall is extremely cold as it is the result of melting glaciers. It is 29 km from Manali and best time to visit it from march to October, when the waterflow is maximum and weather is pleasant. Rahala Fall is a place where you can experience the beauty and tranquility of the Himalayas.
Day 7 Manali to Chandigarh
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Chandigarh. After reaching Chandigarh in the afternoon check in to the hotel have some rest. Visit Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake. Rock garden displays human creativity at best and will definitely amaze you. Enjoy boating at Sukana lake. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8 Departure from Chandigarh
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed toward Airport/railway station for your onward journey.
