Shimla and Manali are two of the most popular hill stations in India. Shimla is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh and is known for its colonial architecture, scenic beauty and pleasant weather. Manali is a beautiful township nestled in the picturesque Beas River valley. It is a rustic enclave known for its cool climate and snow-capped mountains, offering respite to tourists escaping the scorching heat of the plains.

Tour Plan

Day 1 Delhi - Shimla

At Delhi you will meet our representative who will assist you in smooth transfer from Delhi to Shimla.

After reaching Shimla check in to the hotel. After some rest take a stroll at famous Mall Road and The Ridge in the evening time. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Shimla - Kufri Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for the drive to kufri which is 14 km from Shimla bus stand. upon reaching kufri visit the places that are mentioned here.

Green Valley - Green Valley is a beautiful and breathtaking mountain range that falls on the way to Kufri from Shimla. Green Valley is about 10 kilometers from downtown Shimla. The area features dense evergreen Deodar forest which is actually water catchment of nearby wildlife sanctuary in Shimla

Himalayan Nature Park - Himalayan Nature Park is one of the most popular and prime attractions in Kufri. This park is around 19 km from Shimla and is spread amidst 90 hectares of dense vegetation within the Himalayan Peaks. The park is set at an altitude of 2600 m above sea level. It comprises a diverse range of western Himalayan flora and fauna. The park is home to a large variety of animals and over 180 species. It resembles a zoo where animals are allowed to live in their natural habitats.

Indira Tourist Park - Indira Tourist Park is located on the Kufri-Chail highway near the zoo. It is one of the famous tourist destinations in the region. The park is named after India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who visited this place when India signed the Shimla Agreement with Pakistan in 1972 in Shimla. The park has a beer bar, an ice-cream parlor, and a video games parlor inside. Pony and yak rides are the major attractions driving many tourists here

Mahasu Peak - Mahasu Peak is one of the highest points in Kufri, located at an altitude of 2720 meters above sea level. It offers stunning views of the Badrinath and Kedarnath ranges. The best way to explore this beautiful area is by hiking through its thick forest of deodar. It is a great spot to experience nature in its raw form.

Day 3 Shimla - Kullu - Manali

After breakfast in the morning leave for Manali. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

Day 4 Manali Local Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel get ready for local sightseeing tour of Manali.

Hidimba Devi Temple - Hidimba Devi Temple also known as Dhungari Temple or Hadimba Temple, is located in Manali. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhimba, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest called Dhungiri Van Vihar. The temple has intricately carved wooden doors. It was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh.

Club House - Club House is an amusement zone on the left bank of river Manalsu Nallah. It offers indoor games such as carrom, table tennis, karting, and skating. There is also an in-house restaurant. Adventure seekers can indulge in river crossing by ropeway here.

Vashisht Kund - Vashisht Kund is a natural hot spring located near Manali town. It is a must visit place and is famous for its hot water spring. The Vashisht Temple, dedicated to the great sage Vashisht, is also located in the same area. The temple is about 4000 year old.

Tibetan Monastery - There are three important Tibetan Monasteries in Manali - The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa, Himalayan Nyingamapa Temple, and one at Aleo on the left bank of Beas river. The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa is situated near the mall in Manali. These monasteries are surrounded by small shops selling beautiful handicrafts and carpets made by Tibetan people living nearby.

Manu Temple - Manu Temple is dedicated to sage Manu, located in mesmerizing town of Manali. It lies in the Beas River Valley and is the only temple dedicated to the king Manu. The name Manali was derived from the sage's name who is believed to be the creator of the human race.

Day 5 Manali-Solang Valley

After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Manali.

Solang Valley - Solang Valley located at the top of Kullu valley is 14 km northwest of Manali. It offers panoramic view of surrounding snowcapped mountains, glaciers and beas river. It is famous for its summer and winter sports, such as paragliding, skiing, zorbing, and many more. Solang valley is a place where you can experience the thrill and tranquility of nature.

Gulaba - Gulaba is a small village near Manali. It is a scenic spot on the way to Rohtang pass where you can enjoy the views of snowcapped mountains and beas river. It is best alternative for skiing when the Rohtang pass is closed during wintertime. Gulaba is a winter wonderland that you should not miss.

Rahala Fall - Rahala fall is one of the best waterfalls in the Himachal as it offers a stunning view of the snowcapped mountains and glaciers. The water of the fall is extremely cold as it is the result of melting glaciers. It is 29 km from Manali and best time to visit it from march to October, when the waterflow is maximum and weather is pleasant. Rahala Fall is a place where you can experience the beauty and tranquility of the Himalayas.

Manali to Delhi

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Delhi. On the way to Delhi visit Kullu. Arrival at Delhi and drop at Airport or Railway station.
